Alicia Chowen is a hairstylist based out of Vancouver, Canada and currently represented by Stranger Agency. Alicia has been in the hair industry for 10+ years and has developed her skills and techniques for the perfect styles on any hair-type. Her vast experience in the film industry for the past 8 years has further enhanced her styling abilities, allowing her to continuously work closely with some of the best in the industry. Alicia is also the Founder and Creative Director of The Texture Workshops which is an education platform that teaches fellow professional hairstylists techniques for styling coily and curly textured hair. Alicia is always seeking to expand her knowledge of hair and her goal is to have anyone who sits in her chair to leave feeling a lil' more fabulous than when they sat down.

Alicia has been nominated for a Local 706 Guild Award for Mahalia - Best Period Hair in TV Movie or Special.
